excuuuse my unpolished nail.

My dad had a meeting with his fellow pipe-smoking buddies the other day, and I was thoughtfully dropped off at Borders. You know, because second-hand smoke kills, and I'm not allowed to try pipe-smoking. (Why would I do that? I love my menthols!) So, while I was browsing around in the Tarot Cards section, (I have a thing for Tarots) I found this little gem.

If Chicken Soup and Goosebumps had a lovechild and groomed it as their own, this would be it. The book has all sorts of true story re-tellings, like grandparents bidding goodbye to their sons and daughters at the moment of their deaths, from hundreds of miles away. Stories about pets who go out of their homes only to become roadkill, unbeknownst to their loving owners. Then they come back for a while, wagging their tails, purring, barking, playing a little... And as the owners reach down to pet them, they vanish into thin air.

Spooky much? Not really. It actually makes you think if you're allowed to take a few seconds of your afterlife to visit the ones you love. And if there was an option to do so, would you take it?

If I could, I probably will. (My loved ones, you have been warned)

And guess how much I spent for this?

Three hours.

I love free readings!

the first time always hurts.

Let's hope this one lasts.

And while all of you other readers are reading this humble inaugural post, one biatch is laughing her butt off and pointing fingers at the monitor because she knows exactly why I'm hoping this would last. Yes, Atri. I'm talking about you.

Atri is actually not a biatch, but rather my best friend, who isn't being very wise right now.

Why, you ask, is my best friend laughing at me? I'll tell you why she's laughing at me. She's making fun of me because she knows that I've never been consistent in blogwriting, and somehow I always end up making blogs I never even bother to visit myself. Livejournal, wordpress, you name it - I've had them all and disposed them like a one-night stand!

Go on, laugh. Have a ball, ya bitch. You know I'm gonna keep on making blogs until the internet gets tired of me.

This, is my fourth - Fifth? Seventh? Who's counting? - attempt at blogging. And if you're with me, let us all cross our fingers and hope, that this one truly lasts.

P.S. Psst, you know I loffs you bestie. Even with your fingers pointing at me.
